Considering how sadistic bosses in the last game could get, these were very welcomed additions. They now all have the ability to block attacks, something only Milla in the original game was capable of while the other two had to abuse abilities with invincibility frames to do, and they now have the ability to spend an amount of excess extra lives to revive on the spot instead of having to do things over from the last checkpoint. The main trio's got redesigned, now sporting an older look, have all undergone training in the years since the last game to improve upon their skills. The core gameplay carries over from the original, albeit streamlined. Who is Merga? What is she planning? Has an old enemy returned, as some fear? And when certain truths are uncovered, will they tear the trio apart? Soon, however, it will turn out that these seemingly-minor incidents all have something more going on behind them. Three years later, Lilac and Carol's treehouse has been destroyed by a rampaging robot, so they and Milla need to do missions for the Magister of Shang Tu alongside Neera Li in exchange for a place to stay. After the Kingdom Stone was destroyed at the end of the first game, a water dragon named Merga broke out of her prison. it's doubtful if the design was ever used for a FP-associated project/fanfic prior to the name "Carrie".The sequel to the surprise indie hit Freedom Planet, the game was an unexpected announcement on December 25, 2015.there is no canon way to say her last name.Carrie Mei's name is an obvious play on Carol Tea's. her role was initially meant to be assumed by Cavy Spade's until Hyper remembered that this sprite existed.she plays very close to Carol, albeit with some changes coming in the form of no bike and a sonic-esque double-jump ability. skin to Carol, being activated by pressing up on the character select for 10 frames. In Shang Mu Architect, Carrie acts as an alt. in the final part, her glitches are gone, and she returns to the dev menu acting as Avalice's admin. in part 9 of the fic, Carrie gets perceived to be killed by Perfect Sash using the code-smasher while defending Team Lilac, but shows up in the 11th hour donning a blue scarf and glitching, Sash having missed her important code. Lilac promises her that she'll help, and after learning of her lack of a name gives her the proper name of "Carrie", Milla later giving her the last name of "Mei". on the verge of tears due to the dragon's at first accusatory behaviors, she explained herself, her situation, what she was doing, and that she needed help. at least until she manipulated the event screen and got Lilac to cross into the dev menu. she couldn't do anything towards the people in the game itself, due to her lack of code making it impossible for her to enter the game as Sash did. when Sash entered the game, the feline began doing everything in her power to undo what Sash did, or at least make herself more powerful. she escaped, hiding amongst other assets in the Clickteam dev menu. she vibed with other cut designs of the main cast until Perfect Sash began her rampage. In Left For Revenge, she had a little code tied to her, but the vast majority of what made her up is filler. the unused feline was intended to be used as an NPC (likely in a hub tied to Relic Maze), but was cut for a second time. she was sprited over when Ziyo Ling gave Strife the permission to use Carol. Strife sprited the character not long into the development of Freedom Planet, intending her to be Lilac's player two. the shine on her shirt has been interpreted by Hyper as a heart pattern. she has a darker orange belt with a silver buckle, silver bases to her boots, and no scarf. she wears clothes almost identical to Carol's, only difference is that they have an orange and green motif rather than Carol's black and green. Carrie is a black feline with a silver muzzle and blonde hair, her tail being long and thin with a silver tip.
